A 10-year-old Class 4 girl, studying at the Dammaiguda Zilla Parishad High School near Hyderabad, who had gone missing from school on Thursday, was found dead in a lake nearby the next morning under suspicious circumstances.

A 10-year-old girl who had gone missing from her school premises in Dammaiguda near Hyderabad on Thursday morning was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a lake near the school on Friday morning.

According to the deceased girl’s family members, Indu (10), who was studying in Class 4 at the Dammaiguda Zilla Parishad High School, was dropped off at school by her father at around 8.30 am on Thursday.

At around 10 am, Indu’s family members received a call from the school management stating that Indu had not turned up to her class and that her school bag had been found on the school premises.

On Friday morning, her dead body was found near Dammaiguda Lake, located close to her school. Police officials reached the spot, recovered the body, and initiated a probe into the matter.This is a developing story and further details are awaited. Read More On..
