Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: In a distressing incident, seven students from   PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore   have been apprehended by the police for their alleged involvement in ragging and forcibly shaving the head of a junior student within the same college, as reported by the authorities. The police said that the victim is a first-year student The victim, identified as a first-year student, became the target of the alleged ragging, with the police revealing that all seven accused students are in their second year of study. The accused are said to have engaged in ragging activities and reportedly demanded money from the victim for the purchase of liquor. The police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the seven accused students, signaling the initiation of legal proceedings.
