Accusing them of "moral crimes and adultery", 11 people were lashed by the Taliban in front of a huge crowd in northern Badakhshan province in the presence of Taliban authorities, scholars, and local elders, Khaama Press reported, citing an official statement. A pistol, grenade and other materials have been recovered from their possession.  "2 militants of TRF arrested by Srinagar Police namely Zubair Gul S/o Gh Mohd Bhat R/o Zoonimar (Category C) & Mohd Hamza Wali S/o Md Yousuf R/o Safakadal (Hybrid)," Srinagar Police tweeted. They were involved in many militant incidents in Srinagar, they said. "One Pistol, one grenade and other material were recovered from their possession," a police official said, adding an FIR has been registered at the Safakadal police station.

Of the nearly 50 workers on the premises at the time, Three were grievously injured. They were rushed to a local hospital where one of them died during treatment, he said. The local firemen and rescue team reached the scene and controlled the fire triggered by the blast, said the official, adding that the cause of the explosion was yet to be ascertained.

Sahil had hidden his plans to marry another woman from Nikki Yadav. Sources said Sahil, a pharma graduate, and Nikki, got married in October 2020 at the Arya Samaj temple in Uttar Pradesh's Noida. Sahil's family was reportedly unhappy with the marriage and wanted her gone. Delhi Police's Crime Branch yesterday arrested Sahil's father, Virendra Singh,
